Opening up lake view
The work of an arborist is to maintain the health and beauty of trees. However, there may be an instance you want to remove some trees to utilize more yard and garden space or to simply open up the view. There are two methods of doing so, selective cutting and clear cutting. Selective cutting, also known as felling is a more environmentally viable practice than clear cutting.
Selective cutting is the process of removing individual trees as opposed to removing all the trees at once. Selectively felling the trees lessens the ecological and visual impact tree removal has and provides an opportunity to create gaps in the forest canopy to encourage natural regeneration.
For example, this particular customer wanted to open up the view of the lake. Our expert arborists were able to selectively remove the trees and clear the debris. After completion, this particular homeowner also had free mulch for their other plants and firewood for the winter.
